120 Attend July 20th Dinner for Democracy!

St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Mt. Shasta, CA shares the love of God in an open, caring, accepting and welcoming community. Join us in exploring and strengthening our faith while serving others in Christ’s Name. Serving Mt. Shasta, Dunsmuir, McCloud, Weed, Lake Shastina, Yreka, and all of Siskiyou County.

Thanks to all of you who attended our fundraiser on Sat. July 20th at the Upper Lodge at Mt. Shasta City Park, or those who gave a generous donation! We did VERY well. About 120 individuals attended and we raised over $10,000 to support our activities, (which includes adding an additional DCCSC college scholarship for a Siskiyou County HS Senior!).

Betty Yee (who is running for Governor in 2026) was the keynote speaker and provided us with information on what was going on in the CA Democratic party as well as her concerns about Project 2025. Our Congressional candidate, Rose Yee, also attended. It was a fun event with great food!

Special thanks to Sweet Tomato Pie for its delicious catering, and the Blackberry Pie Band for its rockin' music! We're so grateful for your generous support!
