DCCSC Supports SIskiyou County Fire Victims
St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Mt. Shasta, CA shares the love of God in an open, caring, accepting and welcoming community. Join us in exploring and strengthening our faith while serving others in Christ’s Name. Serving Mt. Shasta, Dunsmuir, McCloud, Weed, Lake Shastina, Yreka, and all of Siskiyou County.
On November 21, 2023, DCCSC members (l. to r.) Karen Zeigler, Pattie Crossen, and Carolyn Miller presented a $1,000 check to Siskiyou Community Resource Collaborative (SCRC), to support longterm fire relief efforts. Receiving the contribution were (r.) SCRC Board President Ken Palfini and (c.) Program Director Steve Bryan.
Here, all pause to enjoy applause from seniors attending the Monday Senior Lunch, held weekly at the Weed Community Center. Siskiyou Dems regularly serve an average of 65-75 community participants. SCRC coordinates and administers the event, and Weed City provides funds. Thanks to all our Dem donors, who made this donation possible.
